What WebApprove does
WebApprove helps a freelance web designer collect client feedback on a website they are building, record the approval of a final version, and collect the remaining payment. It does not host, build, deploy or deliver websites.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the accuracy of what you tell your clients through it — project values, deposits already paid, and the number of revision rounds you have agreed.
Fees
The subscription is €5 per month. In addition, WebApprove takes 2% of each payment successfully collected through the platform, up to a cumulative maximum of €25 per project across all of that project’s payments combined. Stripe’s own processing fees are separate and are charged to you by Stripe.
Payments between you and your client
Client payments are processed by Stripe directly into your own connected Stripe account. For those payments you are the merchant of record: Stripe’s processing fees, refunds, chargebacks and disputes are yours, and the contract for the website work is between you and your client. WebApprove is not a party to it.
Approval records
An approval recorded in WebApprove is an application audit record: what was approved, by whom, from which address, and when. It is not a qualified electronic signature and is not presented as one.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Historical projects, approvals and payment records are preserved. Pending client approvals and payment links already in a client’s hands continue to work.
