Refunds & Cancellation

October 19, 2026

How cancelling works, what we refund, and what happens to payments your clients have already made.

Cancelling a plan

Cancel at any time from the billing portal in Settings. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period. Your subscription keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not renewed after that.

Your 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may withdraw from the subscription within 14 days of first subscribing, without giving a reason, and receive a full refund. Write to [email protected] within that period.

Refunds outside the 14 days

We refund the current month in full if WebApprove was substantially unusable because of a fault on our side, or if you were charged after cancelling. Write to us and say what happened; we would rather refund a month than argue about one.

We do not routinely refund a month simply because it went unused.

Payments your clients made

Payments from your clients are not ours to refund. They were processed into your own Stripe account, where you are the merchant of record, so you issue those refunds yourself from Stripe.

When you do, WebApprove reverses its 2% commission in proportion — refund half a payment and half the commission comes back, which also returns that much of the project's €25 allowance. You do not need to ask us for this; it happens automatically when Stripe tells us about the refund.

How a refund arrives

Subscription refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, usually within five to ten business days depending on your bank.

Price changes

If the subscription price changes, existing subscribers are told by email at least 30 days before it applies to them, and can cancel before it does.

Closing your account

Write to [email protected]. Closing an account cancels the subscription and deletes your project data, except records we must keep for accounting and tax, and the approval and payment records that evidence completed transactions.
